On Tuesday, in the middle of a meeting I lead, I was overcome with a flu bug and had to escape the room, to go home and toss and turn for the rest of the night.
Wednesday, I felt much better but was still in slow motion, so I stayed at home and occasionally pretended to type things on my computer.
Thursday, I don't remember what happened on Thursday.
Friday during the day went as planned. But we thought we were getting 5 bunnies for a video shoot and instead we got five gigantic adult rabbits that were bigger than most horses.
Friday night, and into Saturday morning, I was glued to the computer and through phone conversations realizing that my daughter's dance teacher had been killed in a horrible car/train accident.
Saturday from 3am on to around 2pm, I was at the School, helping, pastoring, doing whatever I could to get those wonderful people through this horrific tragedy.
Sunday we announced that we wouldn't be able to go into Wentz Hall in May for our downtown campus services the way we thought we would. We will have to wait until September.
Sunday I said goodbye to my grieving family and flew to Orlando. The second part of that sentence went as planned.
And today, I'm starting my work for the Exponential Conference, and the main sessions that I'll be producing. And it's my lovely wife's birthday. Happy Birthday Kristi! miss you!
Okay, that's the wrap up. Still trying to make sense of it all. How was your week?
